Exam and Credits:

If you need credits for the course, you need to pass the exam and attend the compulsory seminar. The exam is a take-home exam, and involves two writing tasks. For more information about the exam, see the exam file and information in Lecture 1. Your exam file should be sent to gunilla.nilsson.roos@ki.se, and must adhere to the instructions given in the exam. The deadline for the exam is 13 May 2025.

The exam 2025 is available here.

Examiner: Keith Humphreys (keith.humphreys@ki.se).

How to claim credits: The course is one of three parts of data management activities that jointly gives 1.5 credit. You will not automatically receive credits for this course. Once you have completed the three parts (Part 1: Passed the exam on DM course, Part 2: Attended at least four DM workshops, and Part 3: Archived one published study in MEBarchive), you can request transfer of 1.5 credits by filling in Form 13 (Application for credit transfer). Give the completed Form 13 to Gunilla (gunilla.nilsson.roos@ki.se), and she will register your course credits. The credit bearing activities were updated from April 2025 and applies to all PhD students at MEB who had not yet passed the Data management course exam by 25 April 2025.
