Research

I am a statistician working with biomedical and epidemiological data. If it involves visualizing and/or analyzing data, preferably using a computer, I’m probably interested in it.

My current projects involve

  • cervical cancer, HPV infection, and vaccination,
  • surveillance of infectious diseases using self-sampling,
  • demographic data cleaning and processing,
  • simulating cancer screening,
  • meta-analysis and Mendelian randomization around cardiovascular disease,
  • other stuff.

I have previously dabbled in data analysis for gene expression microarrays in breast cancer, mass-spectrometry proteomics for lung cancer, next-generation sequencing for esophageal cancer (notice a trend?), generic multiple test adjustments, exploratory geostatistics and fish.
